In March 2001, Richard made a presentation during a Dolphin Healing Lecture at the Open University in Milton Keynes. The other presenters were Dr. Horace Dobbs, Bill Bowell and Dr. Rebecca Fitzgerald.

Richard recently gave a presentation at Bristol, where he was able to describe some of his experiences of dolphin healing programmes around the world, much of which was supported by video clips.
